Event Horizon is a rationalist group house in Berkeley. We've moved out of the ancient CFAR and Singularity Institute offices above REACH to a new and beautiful location in Central Berkeley!

Our housemates build models, infrastructure, and community. We work together to help each other become better versions of ourselves, and to make the world better. We're also pretty good at having fun.

We are not currently accepting new residents, but we'd be happy to have you stay with us as a short-term guest. Contact us below to inquire about openings.

Short-term stays

We have four couches (and rarely rooms) available for guests.

Couch - Free
Shared room - $35/night
Private room - $60/night

Stays are by default limited to one week; contact us if you would like us to make an exception.
Long-term stays

In some serendipitous cases, we are able to take on guests for a longer period of time. Please email eventhorizonhouse@gmail.com for more information about pricing and availability for long-term stays.
